Kiwanis Kite Festival

Come Fly a Kite with Kiwanis!

Join us for this free event to celebrate one of the joys of childhood: watching a kite soar in the sky! A number of kites will be available for free (while supplies last).

The event includes: face painting, games, food trucks and more. Happy, the mascot of the Western Fair, will be dropping by, and local agencies will be on-hand to share information about their programs and initiatives.

Let’s hope for a good breezy day!

While this is a free event, attendees are encouraged to donate what they can to support our friends at Ark Aid Mission. Westminster Ponds Centre has indoor washroom facilities and ample free parking for up to 150 cars. In the event of inclement weather, a rain date has been scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026.
