Moving to a new city is difficult. There are things to see, do, and many first steps you may need to take.

Settling in London

The following resources, located in the London area, can help people find services and programs in the area:

Settling in Ontario

Have questions about settling in Ontario, in general? provides lots of helpful information in its online publication, “My First Days: A Guide to Your First Two Weeks in Ontario"

"I am London" 150

I am London is a city-wide social media campaign brought to you by the Inclusion and Civic Engagement Subcouncil of the London and Middlesex Local Immigration Partnership. The campaign showcases the diversity of London, ON, and celebrates successful newcomers who have chosen to call London their home. They are proud and engaged members of our community who want to share their inspirational stories with other Londoners. Those selected to be the faces of our great city are profiled on our blog and their stories shared through Facebook and Twitter.

The fourth campaign is a special one as we celebrate Canada 150! “I am London 150” will launch in January 2017 and will continue throughout the year.
To learn more about the campaign, or to get details on how to submit a nomination (submissions accepted until October 31, 2016), visit the campaign website: I am London
